Use the form below to send the letter on the right to the U.S. Mint in support of the District of Columbia quarter designs that incorporate the phrase "Taxation Without Representation".

As you know, there are over 600,000 Americans in the District who are denied basic liberties by being taxed without representation. Let's make sure the rest of the country knows this by getting this slogan on our state quarter. It will just be like the "Taxation Without Representation" license plates - but this time on our money!

Thank you for your activism on this important issue.

Dear Mr. Moy:

I'm writing to express my frustration with the U.S. Mint's recent decision to reject the designs for the District of Columbia quarter because they included the phrase "Taxation Without Representation." I feel this dismissal is unwarranted and unfair. We don't have representation in Congress, and we don't have home rule. The least you could do is allow us to design our own quarter.

I urge you to reconsider the District's initial design submissions that include the phrase "Taxation Without Representation." The expression both describes the principles upon which our nation was founded – and serves as a reminder that the promise of American representation government has not yet reached all of its citizens.

Sincerely,
